Sophie Bille Brahe
Sophie Bille Brahe grew up in Copenhagen, where she crafted her first pieces of jewellery in a workshop provided by her school.
Her passion for jewellery was sparked early, nurtured by a family heritage where art and beautiful objects held a central place. After rigorous goldsmith training, she refined her skills at London’s Royal College of Art before launching her eponymous brand in 2011. Her first signature design, the Croissant de Lune, paid tribute to her ancestor, the astronomer Tycho Brahe, and marked the beginning of a sculptural approach to jewellery where every piece tells a story.
Refined and luminous, her work embodies the essence of Scandinavian design. Recycled 18k gold enhances the brilliance of Top Wesselton VVS diamonds, while Akoya pearls evoke a soft, lunar glow. Asymmetric compositions lend a fluid, natural movement to her pieces — inspired by the sea and the sky.
Initially celebrated for her innovative take on pearls, she quickly became a leading name in diamond artistry, revealing their brilliance through a subtle interplay of volume and light.
