Maison Mazarin was born from the friendship between Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy, two gemologists and art historians whose paths crossed at Pierre Bergé & Associés. From this encounter emerged a shared vision: to celebrate the great tradition of French fine jewellery while infusing it with a considered modernity.
Guided by a deep respect for artisanal heritage, the founders are committed to preserving traditional savoir-faire while evolving its codes with sensitivity. Their mission is to imagine the eternal jewellery of tomorrow through exceptional materials, rigorously selected according to the ethical standards of the 21st century. Mazarin works exclusively with certified natural diamonds — all evaluated by the GIA according to the 4C criteria — as well as recycled gold, ensuring a responsible and transparent approach.
Heritage, ethics and harmony define Mazarin’s distinctive aesthetic. Within just a few seasons, the Maison has established itself through a bold elegance, embodied by emblematic collections such as Elephant and Eboris (from the Latin ebur, meaning “ivory”). The elephant, a symbol of strength and wisdom, has become the emblem of the Maison: it appears throughout the collections — sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract — and extends to Mazarin’s commitments beyond jewellery. The Maison supports the Big Life Foundation, dedicated to the protection of elephants in Kenya, extending its vision of beauty imbued with meaning.
