On a journey of initiation to India, Maxime is given a curious bracelet of Euphorbia seeds (also known as Rudraksha seeds). Seeds are considered powerful elements for protection, healing and spiritual development. It awakens an indescribable source of vitality, a precious sense of truth, a return to life and the essence of beauty. Following the Indian tradition of “Rakhi” (“protection” in Sanskrit), the seeds are threaded onto the famous red thread worn by Indians around their wrists. Rakhi protects against the evil eye and binds families, especially siblings, together with love and duty. It is said that once you have tied this red thread to your wrist, you must not detach it until it is completely worn out. It will break of its own accord when its work is done. A creator at heart, Maxime is driven by her jewelry dreams. She created Seed, a jewelry line inspired by her magic bracelet.
