Founded in 2016 by Sophie Howard, the brand takes its name from a National Geographic article referencing untouched, unspoiled lands, an image that resonated deeply with her vision: to create jewellery as fragments of nature, sculpted objects balancing clarity and simplicity. Sophie Howard grew up in Munich before moving to London at sixteen, carrying with her a deep connection to form and texture. She immersed herself in the world of fashion, where she developed a precise eye for clean lines and minimalist design, a path that naturally led her to jewellery. The contours of By Pariah are full, the volumes serene, as if shaped by time itself. Smoky quartz, moss agate, amethyst: each stone is selected for its depth and texture. Framed in 14k recycled gold, they are left free to speak for themselves.
