“At WHITEbIRD, we are as sensitive to French culture and art de vivre as we are to the creation of beautiful jewellery. In Paris, the capital of Love, there is no shortage of ways to spend a divine day with your beloved."

- Stéphanie Roger

Theatre : Mad love, centre stage
Waiting for Bojangles
They dance, they laugh, they invent their own rules. Inspired by Olivier Bourdeaut’s cult novel, Waiting for Bojangles tells the story of a blazing, incandescent love, seen through the eyes of a child. A life lived as a constant celebration, driven by an elusive mother and a couple determined to reject normality.
Victoire Berger-Perrin’s direction captures this fragile intoxication with a light touch. Julie Delarme, Didier Brice and Victor Boulenger embody this romantic vertigo, suspended between absolute lightness and an inevitable fall.
A play to experience together, as a reminder that love can sometimes feel like a dance on the edge.

The story
Under the enchanted gaze of their son, they dance to Mr. Bojangles by Nina Simone. Their love is magical and dizzying, an endless celebration. In their world, there is room only for pleasure, fantasy and friends.
She sets the tone and leads the dance: the mother, an unpredictable, extravagant firefly. She is the one who constantly sweeps them into a whirlwind of poetry and illusion.
One day, however, she goes too far. And father and son will do everything they can to hold off the inevitable, to keep the party going at all costs.

Never has “mad love” felt so aptly named.

Hidden away in the heart of Montmartre, L'Hôtel Particulier is a romantic and confidential address par excellence. Located in a private street perpendicular to the majestic avenue Junot, it is reached by walking along the famous petanque club of this picturesque district. The building, standing in its own beautiful garden,  once belonged to the Hermès family and is now, quite understandably, protected as a historical monument. This charming "folly" is one of the smallest and most private hotels in Paris. A haven of peace for a cup of tea.

Dreaming together, for lovers of minerals
“Stone Reveries: Poetry and Minerals by Roger Caillois” at L’École des Arts Joailliers
With Stone Reveries, L’École des Arts Joailliers explores a delicate territory at the crossroads of science, poetry and dream. The exhibition draws inspiration from the writings of Roger Caillois, a writer fascinated by minerals, their inner landscapes and their secret rhythms.
Here, stones become surfaces for projection and fragments of imagination. Agates, jaspers and ornamental stones converse with words, inviting a slow, almost meditative form of contemplation. An exhibition for those who enjoy looking closely and letting their imagination wander.
A rare exhibition to discover together, like sharing a secret. A moment to slow down, to dream, and to be surprised by the ex-nihilo poetry of the mineral world.

Here, poetry becomes matter, dreams are inscribed in living stones: “immutable by nature and inexhaustible in the reveries they inspire.”— Roger Caillois, The Writing of Stones
