"In line with the global move to more socially and environmentally sourced gemstones and gold, Karen Liberman Jewellery is committed to adopting practices which use as much recycled gold in our designs as well as fair trade and mercury free gold from certified mines. We have also commenced purchasing gemstones from a company based in the United States that has been building the largest mine to market supply chain for ethical gems since 1976. 

Wherever possible the gold we use is recycled and gemstones that are naturally occurring are favoured over synthetically treated ones.

Most of the gold which is not recycled in our designs is sourced from Australian certified mines and hence most of the jewellery we produce is made from Australian gold.

Karen Liberman Jewellery also promotes artisan traditions and supports individuals and families that do not fit into the mass manufacture model. We are very conscious that the work given to create our jewellery provides these talented individuals practicing their craft a livelihood and we view these artisans as our valued collaborators in creating our beautiful pieces.

ABC refinery in Australia where our main supply of gold comes from is LBMA accredited. This accreditation guarantees that all precious metals are sourced ethically and world class supply chain standards are adhered to."
