This summer, WHITE bIRD invites you to Saint-Tropez!
In the heat of the sun, a wide selection of White Bird jewellery will be on show this summer at the Bagatelle boutique on Pampelonne Beach. A top-notch summer destination, this small, former fishing village has managed to preserve its authentic character.
Here are our favourite spots to enjoy the chirping of cicadas…
For lunch on the beach:
Bagatelle, Les Tamaris, Chem. de Matarane, 83350 Ramatuelle
On Bagatelle beach, chefs Rocco Seminara and Bilal Amrani offer a cuisine that exudes the generous flavours of the French Riviera. Seafood, fish, caviar, Mediterranean vegetables and other sun-drenched dishes will delight the most demanding taste buds - and all of this in a bright and magical setting, where the sea and the sun meet.
After lunch, why not browse the boutique that adjoins the restaurant, where you will discover a collection of small personal and delicate treasures by White Bird…?
Lulli St Tropez, 52 Rue Gambetta, 83990 Saint-Tropez
A bazaar the way we like them: from swimwear to flip-flops and that basket you dreamt of for the summer, all the season’s essentials are here alongside designer clothes, decorative objects and unmissable hip accessories. If you are looking for the perfect gift, this is certainly where you will find it.
Dédé St Tropez, 16 Rue Joseph Quaranta, 83990 Saint-Tropez
With its pale blue shutters, the multi-brand Dédé de Saint-Tropez is the little brother of the Dédé boutique in Crans Montana. Set up by Manon and Romane Deller, two fashion-loving sisters, the boutique houses an exquisite selection of emerging clothing and accessories brands.
MicMac, 21 Quai Suffren, 83990 Saint-Tropez
"Dreaming of yesterday whilst creating tomorrow" is the motto of the legendary French ready-to-wear brand MicMac. Installed on the port of Saint-Tropez since its creation in 1964, it was Françoise Sagan who came up with the name MicMac during a discussion with Tan Giudicelli, the brand’s founder. In tune with the times, the store offers eco-responsible clothing that puts durability first. Guarantors of French chic, MicMac’s clothes are defined by anelegant and simple style that allows the wearer to move seamlessly from day into night.
Isabella M. Vintage, 12 Rue Gambetta, St Tropez
This temple of vintage jewellery is tucked away in the hallway of 12, rue Gambetta, on the left before the stairs. Vitrines that make your mouth water, filled with marvels from past collections by Chanel, Dior or Louis Vuitton. An extraordinary port of call where these vintage collections are only waiting for you.
L’Hôtel de la Ponche, 5 Rue des Remparts, 83990 Saint-Tropez
Away from the hustle and bustle, this 5-star hotel remains exceptionally authentic. A landmark of raw simplicity and luminous creativity, it’s an intimate cove that shelters the soul of St. Tropez. This is where, in the 1950s, Roger Vadim filmed And God Created Womanwith Brigitte Bardot. Frequented by Boris Vian, Françoise Sagan, Jean-Paul Sartre and Pablo Picasso - for whom the hotel was a source of creativity and inexhaustible lightheartedness - it is here that the Riviera’s art of living was born.
L’Auberge des Maures, 2 Rte de Tahiti, 83990 Saint-Tropez
A must-see since its creation in 1931, the Auberge des Maures moved to the Château de la Messardière after many wonderful years in the heart of the village. Synonymous with family cooking and Mediterranean flavours, it has welcomed celebrities from the golden age of the Côte d'Azur such as Charlie Chaplin and Greta Garbo. The perfect place to enjoy à la carte dishes on a tree-lined terrace. In the evening, live music concerts complete the friendly atmosphere.
Chez Madeleine, 14 pl. aux Herbes, 83990 Saint-Tropez
It is impossible to stroll in the village without taking a break in this very small shop. Chez Madeleine’s location is quite exceptional: nestled next to the fabulous fish market and behind the Pâtisserie Sénéquier. A beautiful spot to enjoy oysters with a glass of white wine at high tables or to buy the best Barigoule artichokes in the village. Run by an old family of Saint-Tropez restaurant owners, whose members still serve there with professionalism and a smile.
